[PyMOL] Move one chain of dimer

Hi PyMol Users,

If I load two chains of a dimer independently as two objects and I want to
move one chain and keep other constant, how can this be done. I want to use
mouse to move the other object.
I saw deprotect and protect commands but using mouse it will move both the
objects. Could it be done just to freeze on of the object?

The point behind all this is that I have binding residues of two chains of
a protein. I saw that I can select residues in PyMol so I will select these
residues in both the chains. Next step is to orient one of the chain to
other so as to align these binding residues face to face.

I hope something is possible

Hi Kanika,

you can "right click on some atom > chain > drag".

Cheers,
Thomas
